Gambero Rosso in Kassel

Wonderful home-made food in a family atmosphere. Great wine selection. We feel very comfortable every time and are always happy to come back. It's not cheap, but quality and excellent service come at a price. Thank you for many wonderful Italian moments.

First of all, I have to say that the food at Gambero Rosso was excellent. All of the dishes I tried were very tasty. However, there are also some criticisms. The electronic card, which could only be called via the cell phone, did not work well. It didn't work at all for another guest and another didn't have his cell phone with him. This can be done better! We sat outside and it wasn't ideal to sit here on the street (which the restaurant can hardly improve on). The service was present, if a bit very chatty for my taste. Still, I give it 5 stars because the food was so delicious.

If you want to eat really good Italian food in Kassel, you are in good hands in Gambero and Famile Tropeano. I was there privately several times in small groups. But the Christmas party organized there was also extremely well received by the college. Keep it up Ms. Tropeano!

It is good that the menu only has a small selection of dishes that you can assume, everything is very fresh. I can also confirm that. I found what I was looking for in the list of recommendations, and was only surprised at the end when it came to the price-performance ratio.

Tasty wines, delicious food with homemade noodles. We even had live music played in the next room. By chance, I discovered the location that has been around for 20 years. Small, cuddly, family ..... that has something.
